KETTLE CHIPS ENCAPSULATES ITS BRAND MEANING

KETTLE Chips, is the UK’s number one hand cooked crisp and is currently worth £75m.  It has grown more than 18% during the last year*.  This success this summer the brand is back with new advertising.

A new creative approach has been developed to encapsulate what the Kettle Chips brand stands for. The ‘simple is better’ campaign is being launched via a national TV campaign, in conjunction with the relaunch of the KETTLE Chips consumer website, and an online promotional campaign.

The new creative places the chips firmly as the hero and emphasises the ingredients that are used to deliver great taste. KETTLE Chips Marketing Director, Andrew Slamin says “This new approach allows us to communicate the unique benefits of our product in a simple and engaging way, with our distinctive chips at its heart. We are confident that our proposition is appealing to consumers and this year’s support activity will continue to drive brand awareness and trial.”

KETTLE® Chips is a brand that has been built on a simple, uncompromising approach to making great tasting chips using the best ingredients. From their launch KETTLE® Chips have always been made using real potato slices which are hand cooked in sunflower oil, then seasoned with authentic flavourings. No artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or MSG are added to the process.

The new KETTLE® Chips website www.kettlechips.co.uk features product news, recipes and competitions and went live on 5th May. The TV ad is on air from 11th May.
