TIMS DAIRY LAUNCHES PREMIUM NATURAL YOGHURT TO THE RETAIL TRADE

April 9th, 2009

In Store Magazine reports that Tims Dairy is celebrating 60 years of yoghurt production by launching a premium natural yoghurt brand to the retail trade.   Tims is mainly a supplier to food service and by launching into retail the brand is taking a new direction.

There is a range of 12 Greek Style Fruit Yoghurts and the aim is to get major multiple listings as well as up scale retailers such as Harrods and Selfridges.

Martin Dawe Brand design agency says the brand identity and packaging has a rustic and handmade look and feel.  This is accomplished through hand drawn illustrations of fruit and handwritten text on brown craft paper.

“We wanted to bring to market an innovative premium range of yogurts in packaging that conveys health, freshness &, above all, taste,” says Tims Dairy managing director Chris Timotheou.

Because the packaging includes information about the brand’s 60-year history this will give consumers background to the the company and its origins.

Tims Dairy makes yogurt for smaller brands such as Duchy Originals, Caffé Nero, Loseley and Noddy.
