SMALL FAMILY BREWERY WINS AWARD FOR HOLE HEARTED BEER.
In a country like Britain, where pubs and beer are as much part of the culture as a Sunday roast, it is not easy to stand out. Yet a small family-run brewery in Gosport, Hampshire has managed to do just that.
Oakleaf Brewery is the producer of Hole Hearted beer which has won a string of aweards such as CAMRA’s Hampshire Beer Of The Year five times in the last seven eyars, and now has received the ultimate accolade as Champion Bottled Beer of Britain awarded by SIBA (The Society Of Independent Brewers).
Hole Hearted is a 4.7% ABV premium bitter brewed with 100% Cascade hops. It is a powerful, floral and fruity beer which, we are told, will surprise with every mouthful, and is loved by traditional real ale enthusiasts and those new to the delights of real ale too.
Said Dave Pickersgill, Managing Director of the Brewery; “Over the years, we have won a lot of awrds for our cask beers, this award for a bottled beer, which is an ever increasingly important segment of the market, especially as it comes from our peers in the brewing industry, underlines our ability to produce great beers of all types.”
