SOMERSET CRAFT BAKERY HAS LAUNCHED GORGEOUSLY NAUGHTY COOKIES AND DESSERTS

April 14th, 2009

Oh goodie is a craft bakery from Somerset has launched a range of what it calls gorgeously naughty cookies and desserts, handmade using only natural ingredients.

Tristan Hunt, brand manager for oh goodie said “It’s a really exciting time for us we’ve been working on the brand for months, developing the identity and the recipes for the products and we’re now finally ready to burst onto the indulgent food scene”.

“We’ve really thought about the type of ingredients we use in our products, for example the only dark and milk chocolate we use is made from Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa, which means the natural habitat in Costa Rica where the beans are farmed is sustainably managed.  We’ve also focused heavily on the impact our packaging has on the environment by having our labels printed on 100% FSC certified material.  This means that any trees cut down to produce the paper for the labels are replaced improving the conservation of the rainforest”.
