TRULY PIE IN THE SKY
fresh! naturally organic, the award winning organic food makers is launching an organic pie into the British Airways Business Class food offering.
The Beef, British Ale and Seasonal Vegetable Pie is hand made with a rich shortcrust pastry top and will be available on British Airways Club World transatlantic flights out of Gatwick from March 1st 2009.
The pie was developed in conjunction with British Airways’ onboard caterer, Alpha Flight Services, with the intention of providing a premium quality product appropriate to British Airways Club World and at the same time delivering on a “comfort food” level.
The new offering strengthens fresh! naturally organic’s position as a premium onboard caterer – already providing the full first class cold food offer on Eurostar’s Europe-bound trains from the UK.
fresh! naturally organic have received two gold stars for their range of pies from the Great Taste Awards and achieved highly commended status in both the Soil Association Organic Food Awards and the Quality Food Awards. The pies are also available from Abel and Cole.
