Pot noodle launches Doner Kebab flavour
Pot Noodle has today launched the new flavour, combining its much loved man snack with the much-loved takeaway food. Hailed as ‘The food of champions? among its male fans, the doner kebab was introduced to the UK in 1971 and has enjoyed mass popularity in the early hours of the morning ever since.
Grahame Walker, Pot Noodle Flavour Development Manager comments, “Kebab Pot Noodle is truly the clash of the male food titans! When it came to developing a new flavour there was one obvious choice ? the nation?s favourite late-night takeaway. We know men love a good kebab as well as a Pot Noodle so we thought we?d combine the two to create the ultimate man food snack, bar nann!”
It is the first time in two years that Pot Noodle has launched a new flavour, following the new editions of Lamb Hotpot, Tikka Masala and Chicken Satay in
March 2007.
Cheryl Claverley, Pot Noodle Marketing Manager says: ”We may be in a recession but Pot Noodle is all about bringing a bit of fun into people’s lives. We’re giving people more choice in their Noodle snacks by adding one of the nation’s favourite takeaways to our range ? combining two of Britain’s much loved foods to create the perfect man snack. New flavours are certainly not in recession here at Pot Noodle.”
For those that want that that post-pub taste on any night of the week, the Kebab Pot Noodle will be available on shelves across the country from this weekend.
Hot chilli sauce with that, Sir? No problem, it comes with the Pot.
