PETER’S REACH THE SUPER LEAGUE
Peter’s Food has agreed an exclusive three year contact to become an Official Partner of the engage Super League and to produce the Official Pie of Rugby League.
As part of the agreement, the Welsh based company will produce a range of “Super League Pies” for the start of the season and will roll out a pasty and sausage roll for the summer months.
James Osgood, Peter’s Food Marketing Director, said: “Peter’s Food is passionate about producing great British Food and we’re confident that our Super League Pies will be big hit with supporters up and down the country.
“Rugby League is one of the UK’s fastest growing sports not only in terms of crowd numbers and television viewers but also where the sport is played. We ’re proud to be a partner of a league that this season can boast games in five different countries.”
The pies, part of Peter’s Premier Pies range, will come in Meat & Potato, Steak and Chicken Curry varieties and will be stocked in supermarkets and convenience chains across the North.
