HARTLEY’S NEW DESSERT VARIETIES
Hartley’s Desserts, part of Premier Foods, has expanded its dessert range with the launch of new Hartley’s Frujies and also Hartley’s Fruit In Jelly. The fruit based desserts are tapping into a need for fat-free and low calorie offerings. They are also being targeted at children’s lunchboxes as well as a general guilt-free dessert or snack.
Talkingretail.com reported that the new desserts capitalise on the 15.4% growth in the individual desserts market.
Hartley’s Marketing Controller, Helen Touchais said “Hartley’s has seen impressive total growth of 12.4% which is extremely positive when coupled with the brands’ strong track record for launching NPD. The latest product launches from Hartley’s will allow retailers to take advantage of this encouraging growth and maximise sales in the individual desserts sector.”
Fruit Jellies, with an RRP of of 69p will be available in Raspberries in Raspberry Jelly flavour as well as Pineapple in Pineapple Jelly flavour.
Frujies, at an RRP of £1.99 will be available in Mandarin In Orange Jelly or Peaches In Strawberry Jelly.
