FARRINGTON’S RAPESEED OIL VINAIGRETTE LAUNCHED AT IFE09
Farrington Oils has launched another dressing within its “Mellow Yellow” range of cold pressed rapeseed oil products. Inspired by the desire to have a new take on French dressing, Eli Farrington has created this product to have a sharp tangy taste which is said to be extremely versatile and complements any salad.
Her husband Duncan produces the oil on their Northamptonshire farm. Eli says “I blended the dressing in the traditional way, using a jam jar in my farmhouse kitchen, and I asked family and friends to be my critical taste panel. I’m delighted with the result”.
Cold pressed rapeseed oil tastes good and also has one of the lowest concentrations of saturated fats – less than half the saturated fat a olive oil. It also has 6g of Omega 3 per 100g.
