DIVINE TO LAUNCH A MILK CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE EASTER EGG
Divine Chocolate, the Fairtrade company co-owned by cocoa farmers, is launching a new addition to its Easter range. The Milk Chocolate Easter Egg with 6 Hand Finished Milk Chocolate Marc de Champagne Truffles (RRP £9.99, 240g) will initially be available from Oxfam stores across the country and selected Trago Mills stores, online from the brand new Divine Chocolate Shop www.divinechocolateshop.com and at www.ethicalsuperstore.com.
Divine Chocolate, is launching the luxurious Milk Chocolate Easter Egg with Champagne Truffles for those chocolate lovers looking for both high quality products and ethical credentials they can trust. As with all Divine products, the egg is Fairtrade certified, made using only the finest cocoa beans and cocoa butter from farmers in Ghana who belong to the Kuapa Kokoo co-operative. And because the farmers also own a 45% stake in Divine Chocolate, it means they contribute to the running of the company and share in Divine profits.
The Milk Chocolate Easter Egg with Marc de Champagne Truffles comes elegantly packaged in gold foil topped with a chocolate-brown ribbon and sitting in a powder blue case. The box pays homage to Divine’s Ghanaian heritage – it is adorned with traditional West African motifs called Adinkra symbols, the meanings of which are explained on the side of the box. The milk chocolate egg uses the very finest cocoa beans grown by smallholder farmers in Ghana and uses entirely natural ingredients, giving a particularly smooth and creamy texture to the chocolate. Enclosed in a gold box below the egg itself sit six hand finished milk chocolate truffles with a chocolate champagne ganache.
