BIRDS EYE LAUNCHES NEW SALMON FISH FINGERS
Birdseye has launched a new ‘grown up’ fish finger made from pink salmon. The company claims it is already yielding incremental category gains and is set to be ‘a teatime favourite’.
Lawrence Trist, Trade Marketing Controller for Birdseye said that adapting to consumer needs and continual innovation was key success. He touched on the incredible success of the recent launch of Birds Eye Omega 3 fish fingers. He also explained that there would be extensive marketing support.
There is to be a £2.3m campaign including in store, bus sides and viral activity.
Department of Health guidelines state that we should all eat at least two portions of fish every week, and one of those portions should be oily fish, such as salmon or mackerel.
