FUDGING THE SWEETNESS ISSUE

February 23rd, 2009

Fudges, the fast-growing niche bakery, has now come up with two more variants.  Almond Flatbreads and Cinnamon Flatbreads.   Fudges claim they are good alongside chocolate mousse, ice cream, frozen yoghurt gooseberry fool or crème brulee.   Or they say to serve them up alongside glistening summer puddings or bowls of be-jewelled soft fruits with a dollop of whipped double cream.

They also say the Fudges Cinnamon Flatbreads and Almond Flatbreads are just the thing to add extra taste and texture to a whole range of summer desserts. They’re also terrific with a relaxing cup of tea or coffee any time of day.

Apparently you can find Fudges Almond Flatbreads and Cinnamon Flatbreads in Waitrose nationwide and selected farm shops, delis and independent stores. A beautifully designed 150g box of flatbreads costs only £1.99.

Fudges is a third generation family business based in Dorset. Originally set up by Percy Fudge in 1926 the award-winning range includes savoury and sweet biscuits and luxury cakes. Every ingredient is carefully sourced for its quality and flavour and many products are hand-crafted.
