Sky News reported today that Dairy Crest has gained an 85% boost in sales of its Country Life Butter, from it’s £5m Campaign fronted by Sex Pistol’s John Lydon aka Johnny Rotten.
Dairy Crest reported an 85% increase in sales in it’s 3rd quarter from its latest campaign. The ad makes fun of the British way of life and the punch line “Do I buy Country Life because it’s British? No I buy it because it’s great butter.”
Dairy Crest Chief Executive, Mark Allen, said the ad had “delivered increased brand awareness”.
