NEW RANGE OF SCRUMMIE SPONGE PUDS
Scrummie is a new range of sponge puddings with sauce. They are said to take 90 seconds to heat in the microwave and they come in four flavours.
Syrup Sponge – steamed sponge pudding with a big ol’ trickle of stickie syrup.
Stickie Toffee & Pecan Nuts – steamed sponge pudding with oozing stickie toffee & pecan nuts.
Trio Chocolate – steamed sponge pudding with a big splurge of chocolate sauce.
Spotted Dick – steamed sponge pudding crammed with loads of juicie currants.
They can be found in the Bakery aisle and the 100% butter sponge is created using free-range eggs.
Scrummie reports that each pudding can be enjoyed either microwaved or steamed; both methods are said to ensure all their “stickie loveliness” is released through to the very last bite. They’ve been listed by Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury’s and the price is £2.49.
