SunBites snacks adds new flavour
Walkers Crisps has launched a new Sun Ripened Sweet Chilli flavour for its SunBites brand.
Walkers SunBites was introduced in late 2007 and is now reported to be one of the biggest brands in the Better For You sector, worth over £17m.
Since its launch the Walkers SunBites brand has delivered 60% incremental sales to the Better For You category, according to the TNS Worldpanel.
SunBites have a 12% volume share of BFY and Walkers are confident that an upcoming programme of activity designed to build on the success of its Walkers SunBites brand will help to increase this further.
Sun Ripened Sweet Chilli flavour has had positive feedback in consumer trials, scoring a higher purchase intent score than the existing Sour Cream and Cracked Black Pepper flavour.
