Ready-to-eat multigrain cereal
Kozy Shack Europe has launched a ready-to-eat multigrain breakfast cereal aimed at people on the move.
The Irish food producer’s Ready Grains is a healthy and convenient way to enjoy breakfast and is free from artificial ingredients making it an attractive option for health conscious shoppers.
It is made from whole grains, oats, barley and rice, and comes with fresh low-fat milk included in a single-serve pot.
The cereal is available in four varieties, original, strawberry, apple & cinnamon and peach, all of which can be heated up in a microwave or eaten cold.
The launch is being backed by an advertising campaign which will include free product promotion. The Daily Mirror will run adverts of the cereal in January enabling readers to collect a free sample of Ready Grains from Morrison’s supermarkets. A nationwide road show will also be used to showcase the product at ASDA stores.
Patrick Duffy, director at Kozy Shack’s Irish manufacturing plant, said: "Whole grain breakfast cereals have seen significant growth in the last year thanks to their health benefits.
Ready Grains is available in 150g single serve pots at a RRP of £0.59 or twin packs for a RRP of £1.19.
