Firm’s olives found in UK stores
A company specialising in Mediterranean food has launched its first fresh olive range in supermarkets around the country.
Belazu uses the expertise of its sister firm, the Fresh Olive Company of Provence, to bring plump, pitted green olives to UK consumers.
The firm says its 500g tub of Verona Olive Mix is the perfect accompaniment to festive drinks and parties over the Christmas and New Year period.
The olives come blended with a typical antipasti mix of mushrooms, yellow peppers, garlic and herbs, and are perfect on pizzas, in salads and omelettes, or eaten on their own.
The olives join Belazu’s current range to be found on the shelves, including extra virgin olive oils, balsamic vinegars, antipasti and Moroccan specialities such as rose harissa.
The Belazu Verona Olive Mix is on sale at Sainsbury’s from December 10 onwards.
