Uncle Ben’s has launched an innovative new range of straight-to-wok rice.
Each year one billion stir-fry meals are whipped up across the country and this new range is aimed at the UK’s wok lovers.
Uncle Ben’s Wok Rice can be used to create tasty meals all in one pan in a few easy steps.
The rice is pre-steamed so there is no need to pre-cook or boil standard rice from scratch. Instead, Uncle Ben’s Wok Rice can be added straight to the wok with other ingredients.
The rice comes in three varieties: basmati with toasted sesame oil; long grain garlic and herbs with coriander and roasted garlic; and long grain oriental soy and five spice with five spices, spring onions and soy sauce.
Not only is this a fast and efficient way to feed the family, but it is also a healthier option as there is no need to use extra oil when adding the rice to the pan, cutting fat content, and it contains no artificial colours, preservatives or flavourings.
Uncle Ben’s Wok Rice is available in a 250g pouch in all leading supermarkets.
