Milkshake launches healthier recipe

The nation’s favourite milkshake has become even healthier and tastier for kids, it has been announced.

Yazoo has launched a new and improved milkshake recipe containing both natural flavours and real fruit juice.

The new drink is low in fat, contains less than 5% added sugar and is free from artificial sweeteners and preservatives. It is also packed with calcium and is a good source of vitamin B.

It is available in three flavours – strawberry, chocolate and banana – to cater for even the fussiest of eaters.

Mums can also rest easy in the knowledge that the shakes belong to an exclusive selection of drinks that meet current government legislation and can be freely sold in schools.

The new recipe and colourful new pack designs will span the entire Yazoo range, including the 200ml kids’ lunch-box size, the 500g bottles and family-sized one-litre packs.

As part of the shake up, Yazoo is also introducing a new chilled 300ml bottle, aimed at those on the go or looking for a re-fuelling snack.
