Birthday tapas half price at Tasca

October 10th, 2008

Famed Spanish tapas restaurant La Tasca, in Manchester’s Deansgate, will be offering food at half price when it celebrates its 15th birthday on October 16.

Dishes will cost the same as they did on the day it opened in 1993, which means Paella Valenciana can be bought for £5.95, a saving of £5, or Chefs Selección de tapas for £12.95, normally £25.95.

It will host an indoor Spanish-style barbecue in the main restaurant from 7pm until 10.30pm, and beach party with salsa and DJ Yayo from 10.30pm until 2am.

Said managing partner Chris Williams: "Nobody parties as hard as the Spanish, and we guarantee you La Tasca’s birthday party will not disappoint.

"It’s testament to the delicious food and sociable style of eating that has made La Tasca so popular. Tapas is an integral part of the Spanish lifestyle, and are the ideal dishes for sharing with friends and family."
