Beckham launches healthy foods
Football star David Beckham and GO3 – a partner company of Findus – have scored a global first by launching a new range of healthy meals and food supplements.
The icon is set to make history as the first sportsman to have his own range of food products, designed to help busy families eat more healthily.
The range includes family favourites such as fish fingers, pasta and omelettes, and will be sold in Tesco.
One million products are already being shipped, including over 25 million fish fingers.
Commenting on the launch, David Beckham said: "As a Dad I know how hard it is to get kids to eat the right things… I also know, as a footballer, how important it is to eat the right things to perform well, so I think the GO3 range is a great way to help families take some small steps to be fit and healthy at affordable prices."
GO3 is a balanced range of healthy meals, containing key ingredients such as Omega-3, wholewheat and hidden vegetables. The meals are frozen and have no artificial preservatives.
In addition to the meals, GO3 has developed three food supplements. Both ranges are available from Tesco.
