Green Giant to launch soup range
A range of soup by canned vegetable brand Green Giant will go on sale in Sainsbury’s supermarkets next month.
Green Giant will come in three different flavours – Country Garden Vegetable, Vine Ripened Tomato and Farm Harvest Mushroom.
The soups come in single serve pouches that take minutes to heat through. Each will contain less than 130 calories and will count as one of the five daily portions of fruit and vegetables recommended by the Department of Health.
Already available in Tesco, Asda and Morrissons, the soup has no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
Country Garden Vegetable flavour will contain chunks of eight vegetables including sweet corn, carrots, peas, green beans and kidney beans.
Vine Ripened Tomato soup contains carefully selected tomatoes, ripened on the vine to give the soup a natural colour. Aromatic herbs will complement the rich tomato flavour.
Farm Harvest Mushroom soup has a home-made appearance and a delicate balance of mushroom flavours and aromas.
