Berry packs ‘ideal for school’

September 6th, 2008

Parents are being encouraged to introduce a healthy lunch for their children by picking up "snack-box" size containers perfect for summer fruits.

The small berry punnets from Sharpak are a fun item for children to find in their school lunchbox and will help provide balanced and nutritious element to their dinnertime.

Following a spate of school and media campaigns promoting healthy options, parents are becoming more conscious of what their families eat.

In response to this, Sharpak is prompting households to fill small berry packs and keep them in the fridge as ideal fresh-fruit desserts.

The firm says its packs are convenient in size and fruit quantity and can be loaded with berries or grapes.

The punnets are also eco-friendly, made using up to 60% post-consumer waste. They only take up a small amount of refrigerator space and can be stored conveniently, providing a one-a-day healthy fruit option.
