Seed mix range introduced
A range of new seed mixes have been introduced by The Food Doctor, it has been revealed.
The company is marketing its latest products as addition to various meals, such as salads, stir-fries, soups and omelettes, according to Talking Retail.
Dubbed ‘Boosts’, the mixes are said to contain natural dietary fibre as well as essential fatty acids and protein.
The website also reports that they are free from gluten and lactose and are suitable for vegetarians.
Herb Seed Salad Boost, Spicy Seed Stir-Fry Boost and Omega Seed Soup Boost are all to be available this month, with a mix of seeds, nuts and herbs.
Last month Essential Trading, the organic food distributor, announced that it had developed a new quinoa seed grain variant.
The company said it is high in protein and low in fat and that it can “add a burst of colour as well as nutrition to mealtimes”.
