Pringles launches new snacks
Proctor & Gamble, owner of the Pringles brand, has announced the introduction of a new range of products.
According to Talking Retail, Pringles Select will be available next month in six different flavours.
The products are described as a smaller, rounder alternative to traditional Pringles and will be packaged in bags rather than the iconic tubes.
Proctor & Gamble trade communications manager Paul Lettice was quoted by the website as saying they come in response to increasing popularity for premium large sharing bags, which grew by 21 per cent and 13 per cent over the last two years.
Flavours available include Thai sweet chilli, Italian cheese with a hint of garlic and spicy Szechuan BBQ.
All six varieties are available in 150g bags with a recommended retail price of £1.48.
In June Proctor & Gamble revealed plans to add two new flavours to the Pringles Rice Infusions range, with Mr Lettice describing it as part of the brand’s “exciting innovation programme”.
