New wine range to launch next week

August 27th, 2008

A new South African wine range is to launch in the UK next week.

Talking Retail reports that a limited edition from Arniston Bay will be available from Monday in two varieties.

And both Limited Release Shiraz 2007 and Limited Release Sauvignon Blanc 2008 will initially be stocked exclusively by Co-op.

Barney Davis, brand and business development manager at Arniston Bay, said: “The Limited Release range is a high quality premium wine made with finest grapes sourced from the Western Cape,” adding that it is intended to be a quality brand at a low price.

The bottles will have a recommended retail price of £7.99, although they will be available at a lower introductory rate for a short time.

Last week Talking Retail reported that McGuigan Grey Label had developed a range of four wines specifically for consumers in the UK, which will be available from October.
