A new alcoholic smoothie product has been introduced by Intercontinental Brands.
The company is aiming the drink, which will be available in four flavours, at women between the ages of 18 and 34, Talking Retail reports.
And television adverts promoting them will be aired from tomorrow in a bid to target the desired audience.
Vodkat Smoothies come in cassis, apple and strawberry, apple and mango, orange and passionfruit, and cranberry and raspberry variants.
Each one has a 12 per cent alcohol by volume content and comes in a clear 500ml bottle. They are designed to be served over ice, according to the website.
Earlier this month Talking Retail revealed that a new drink blending vodka and the Japanese drink sake had been launched.
Marketing director of Extreme Spirits, which produced the Wokka product, said: “By declaring the brand as a ‘Fusion Vodka’, we have in fact defined a new category.”
