New spices from Schwartz

August 9th, 2008

A new range of spices has been launched under the Schwartz brand, which include marrying herbs with fruit pieces, parent company McCormick & Company has announced.

According to the firm, three subcategories will be created under the new Cook Art label.

Unusual Combinations, Richly Roasted and Sea Salt Blends are the three options available consumers and will offer blends such as coriander, ginger and mango, or basil, sun dried tomato and apple.

Sally Aisher, a Schwartz spokesperson, stated that the new range will encourage shoppers to purchase more products.

“Schwartz is at the forefront of innovation and by bringing much-needed excitement to the herbs and spices fixture, this demonstrates our on-going commitment to delivering against the growing consumer desire for new flavours,” she said.

The Cook Art herbs and spices will be presented in brushed aluminium tins.

Schwartz also produces seasoning, curry and cooking sauce products.
