New pies gain seal of approval

New products in the fresh! naturally organic range have been honoured by the Guild of Fine Food.

Two of the company’s pies will now bear the distinctive black and gold logo as foods that have received the Great Taste Award.

Founder and chief executive officer of fresh! naturally organic Chantelle Lundski said: “To receive such a prestigious award so early in the life of a new product is a real tribute to the quality of the product and the hard work we have put into developing the range.”

The named pies, Moroccan Lamb and Ratatouille and Feta, are made by hand and contain no hydrogenated fats or additives.

Others in the range include beef, pumpkin and stilton, and red wine and mushroom. The company uses only British meat.

In May it received the Checkout Convenience Award for best new convenience food product for a half-salad, half-sandwich combination.
