New packaging for Chileno wine range

August 27th, 2008

An update in packaging for Chileno has come as a result of research carried out by PLB Wines, it has been revealed.

Talking Retails reports that the importer, which owns the Chilean wine brand along with its producer – Vina Ventisquero, found that a relaunch was necessary.

Bottles will now feature an Aztec-patterned logo as well as details concerning country of origin and variety.

Amanda Walker, PLB Wines marketing manager, explained that the new packaging reflected consumer demand identified through the research.

“Chilano has built a reputation for over-delivering at its price point, so we need the exterior of the bottle to have the same high quality feel as the wine inside,” she remarked.

Last week the website reported that Constellation Europe had secured exclusive rights to market a new wine bottle design in the UK.

The bottle includes a plastic glass built in to the screw cap and will be used for 250ml varieties in the Hardys range.
