Limited edition coffee from Booths
A new limited edition coffee has been developed by Booths.
Using beans sourced from Ecuador, the company has created Caxarumi to be stocked in its stores.
Booths describes it as having “a distinctive fruity vanilla aroma” and “a buttery maltiness”, adding that it “conjures up memories of treacle toffee and bonfires – the perfect cup of coffee to start your day full of energy”.
The company said the beans are limited to a supply of 16 bags each season and come from a region where coffee growing is the only source of income.
Booths product is the second limited edition coffee to be launched in as many weeks, following the introduction of Nestle’s Special Club Jinogalpa.
The name is derived from Matagalpa and Jinotega – the two regions of Nicaragua the beans are sourced from – and the company stated that a process of roasting the beans of each area separately ensures a premium roast is produced.
