Limited edition bread from Warburtons
Consumer demand has prompted bread company Warburtons to re-introduce its Winter Fruit Loaf as a limited edition.
According to Talking Retail, the product is to be available from next month and features an updated recipe.
Designed for the festive season, the bread includes cinnamon, sultanas and currants, as well as the newly-added orange and lemon pieces.
Category director for Warburtons Sarah Miskell said the product “always proves to be a popular line”, describing it as “a great tasting winter warmer that can be enjoyed by the family as a tea-time treat, a snack or toasted for breakfast”.
Packaging will also be updated, with a festive pattern intended to reinforce the limited edition status.
Last month the website reported that Warburtons had added a new white loaf to its range of Weight Watchers products.
It came in response to consumers on weight management plans that still wanted to eat quality, tasty food.
