Limited edition apricot ice cream
A luxury, limited edition ice cream has been launched by Haagen-Dazs.
The apricot and cream flavour was introduced as part of a range of new products for the summer and will be sold in the brand’s London store.
It combines apricot ice cream with sun-kissed pieces of the fruit, creating a “light and refreshing flavour”.
Haagen-Dazs claimed the snack is “rich, thick and creamy, so it melts slowly in the mouth making that taste of the summer last even longer”.
Also added to the ‘summer collection menu’ is apricot and chocolate cookie crunch, which combines the new flavour with Belgian chocolate ice cream to create a sundae, while an apricot cooler drink incorporates orange juice into the product.
One of Haagen-Dazs’ main competitors, Unilever, recently opened a centre of excellence with sites in the UK and Italy to promote innovation in the category.
