New Ginsters product is ‘inspired’ by the Big Apple

July 2nd, 2008

Pasty specialist Ginsters has announced the launch of a new product that has Big Apple flavours.

New York Style Steak and Cheese is the latest innovation from the Cornish company, Talking Retail reports.

It contains West Country steak, New York deli-style mustard and the manchego cheese, the firm stated.

Head of brand marketing at Ginsters Andy Valentine commented that the firm looked to find global food trends that could be used in a pasty format.

“New York Style Steak and Cheese was an obvious choice and means we can use some of Cornwall’s best ingredients as a base before adding the New York flavours which makes for a fantastic combination,” he said.

He added that the company is keen to bring a “unique Cornish take” to all of its products.

Burger King recently announced the launch of a new product – a burger to share between friends, Brand Republic reported.
