Kellogg’s introduces mint variety snack bar

Cereal specialists Kellogg’s has launched a new variety of its Special K cereal -a snack bar that promises a healthy option sweet treat for dieters.

Special K Mint Chocolate is the latest addition to the Special K Bliss cereal snacks range, Talking Retail reports.

The bar will combine cereal pieces with a thin layer of mint-infused chocolate.

According to Jean Yves Heude, Kellogg’s general manager of sales and snacks, “mint chocolate is a proven favourite” in the biscuit sector.

“Now Kellogg’s are offering a healthier alternative to consumers who may be watching their shape but still want to snack on a mint chocolate treat,” he said.

He added that the launch of the product will open up a number of avenues for the firm in a “new consumer bracket”.

Recently, Dorset Cereals announced the launch of its new Breakfast Projects, which offer fun and educational activities for kids.
