The Wensleydale Creamery marries fruit and cheese
A new range of cheese with added fruits is to be launched by the Wensleydale Creamery, and all the combinations use Ocean Spray Cranberries.
The company is revising its Wensleydale and cranberries product by bringing out its new cheese Real Yorkshire Wensleydale with Ocean Spray Cranberries, Talking Retail reports.
According to the creamery, this cheese boasts 30 per cent extra cranberries.
The rest of the new cheese from the firm includes Real Yorkshire Wensleydale with Ocean Spray Cranberry and Orange, Real Yorkshire Wensleydale with Ocean Spray Cranberry and Papaya, and Real Yorkshire Wensleydale with Ocean Spray Cranberry and Mango.
All the new products – six in total – will be introduced throughout 2008, with the new Real Yorkshire Wensleydale with Ocean Spray Cranberries being the first to hit shop shelves.
Last year, the Wensleydale Creamery scooped 17 titles at the Nantwich International Cheese Show.
