The unique summer cocktail created by Grand Marnier is to receive promotional backing, in the form of a seven-figure sum.
Grand Espirit has been hailed by the company as a classic choice for the summer season, mixing elderflower cordial with Grand Marnier.
The advertising campaign is reflecting the marriage of the English accompaniment and French spirit, by using French and English language as part of the campaign.
Marnier-Lapostolle area export manager for UK Guillaume Villerabel said that trails by the company have indicated that consumers have not found it difficult to understand the French phrases.
“We believe we have created a new classic drink for the summer which will appeal to sophisticated consumers,” he said.
Earlier this week, agricultural student Jill Brown from Scotland announced that she will be launching a new drink, Good Berry Vodka, at the Taste of Grampian show, the Press and Journal reported.
