Sacla introduces Italian innovation
A new product has been launched by Sacla – Italian Red Onion & Gorgonzola stir-through sauce.
According to Clare Blampied, the managing director of Sacla UK Limited, the innovation will be entering a sector worth £25 million, Talking Retail reports.
She stated that Sacla already has a 20 per cent share of the stir-through sauce category.
“Made from the finest Italian ingredients, it’s in a small jar but has a big Italian taste,” she said, adding that customers can “recreate mouth-watering dishes” using the product.
Ms Blampied added that the sector is “very competitive” but Sacla has focused in “provenance, authenticity and quality” to set itself apart from other brands.
The new stir-through sauce option joins the Sacla portfolio of products at a time when the company is focusing on a marketing campaign, using sampling techniques as well as TV adverts.
Sacla’s range of products includes varieties of pesto and premium sauces.
