Mini joints promise Sunday roast convenience

June 15th, 2008

A new selection of mini joints is promising to take the hassle out of cooking a traditional Sunday roast.

Food producer Roberts of Port Dinorwic has created a range of individual joints in a variety of different meats, MeatInfo.co.uk reports.

Available in duck, turkey, beef, pork, lamb and a selection of game meats, the joints can be used by the food service sector to cook on demand, the company stated.

Trading director at the company Miriam Roberts remarked that the joints are a “popular choice”.

“We take a huge amount of the preparation out of the equation and supply really tasty, slow-cooked joints, which can be prepared very quickly,” she said.

The joints also come in a range of marinades, including rosemary, fennel and sage for the pork option and a red wine sauce for the beef joints.

Roberts recently announced its new summer dishes that offer both traditional British meals and foods with a foreign twist.
