Big Eats range gets new addition

June 15th, 2008

A new variant is to be added to Walkers’ Big Eat range of crisps.

The Big Eat line of snacks includes flavours such as cheese and onion, ready salted, salt and vinegar, prawn cocktail, steak and onion, roast chicken and Worcester sauce, Talking Retail reports.

Now, the company is to extend its smoky bacon flavour to these larger pack sizes.

Walkers’ impulse director David Biggs stated that the flavour is already a hit with customers.

“Smoky Bacon is already a popular flavour within the Walkers standard bag range and growing at 20 per cent,” he said.

According to Walkers, the Big Eat range is growing at 6.1 per cent and the new flavour is being targeted towards young males.

McCoy’s recently reintroduced its range of tortillas in hot chilli and nacho cheese flavours, which are also aimed primarily at men.
