A new fruity vodka drink has been pioneered by a Scottish agricultural student.
Jill Brown from Watten, near Wick, studies at the Scottish Agricultural College at Craibstone and has created Good Berry vodka using Scottish-grown strawberries and raspberries, the Press and Journal reports.
Ms Brown is unveiling her drink at the Taste of Grampian show, an event for food and drink producers in the area.
Explaining how she created the new blend, she said: “My Good Berry vodka is made with real fruit, as opposed to fruit concentrate or syrup. The berries are infused in the vodka for a period of time to allow the flavours to flow out through it.”
She added that the next step is to filter and bottle the liquid.
