Tub packaging for Cadbury’s luxury ice cream
Two luxurious ice cream options from Cadbury will soon be packaged in tubs, the food giant has announced.
Cadbury Dairy Milk and Cadbury Flake will soon be available in a premium square tub, Talking Retail reports.
Cadbury Dairy Milk ice cream will contain real chunks of Dairy Milk chocolate, while the Cadbury Flake option will be a blend of Flake pieces and vanilla ice cream.
Sales and marketing director at ice cream manufacturer Fredericks Dairies David Taylor stated that there are currently two opposing trends in the category.
“There are two key drivers fuelling growth in the ice cream market and they sit at opposite ends of the spectrum – health and indulgence,” he said.
Mr Taylor added that consumers prefer to buy smaller portions of “really decadent” ice cream.
Cadbury recently announced the new format for its latest advertising drive.
It said that the Trucks adverts will emulate the success of its iconic gorilla marketing campaign.
