Tican Chilled and Jaspers launch new meat ranges
Two new meat products produced using traditional farming methods have been sourced by Tican Chilled and Jasper.
The two food firms are to introduce South West Specially Selected Beef and South West Specially Selected Lamb, as both meats come from animals reared in Devon and Cornwall, Meatinfo.co.uk reports.
Jason Wilkie, the trading director for Tican Chilled, claimed that the new products are responding to consumer needs.
He stated: “Through our South West Specially Selected Beef and Lamb brands we are able to offer customers the guaranteed provenance and traceability that they are looking for.”
Furthermore, Mr Wilkie remarked that the “very best livestock from Farm Assured English farms in the south-west” has been selected by the procurement team.
Mattessons announced last week that its Fridge Raiders brand would incorporate two new products.
The snack range will now include Sweet Chilli and Southern Fried chicken bites.
