Two new cider products from Bulmers

The cider specialist Bulmers has launched two new over-ice cider products, aimed at the younger generation as the drink becomes more popular.

Bulmers Light and Jacquard Orchard Fruits will be introduced to consumers at the end of next month, Talking Retail reports.

Carol Saunders, head of customer marketing off-trade at parent company S&N UK, remarked that the products are suitable for both women and men.

“Jacques Orchard Fruits also builds on the growing trend for cider-over-ice and is designed to appeal to young professional (25 to 34-year-olds) females who prefer products that offer a stylish, more refreshing alternative to wine,” she said.

She added that new drinkers may be attracted to the brand and the products will also bring “pub quality drinks” to the home.

Global Brands recently announced that it is to launch a bottle mojito product to the alcoholic drinks category.
