New products introduced by Mission Foods

April 14th, 2008

Mission Foods is launching two new products this year, namely Mission Deli Naans and Mission Deli Pittas.

The brand is surging ahead with its aim of becoming Britain’s leading flatbread manufacturer within three years by introducing the new products, Talking Retail reports.

European marketing director of Mission Foods Ian Job stated that the brand has seen strong success.

The success is due to the “brand’s unique quality credentials” as well as “baking expertise”, he remarked, adding: “The launch of the new Deli Naan and Deli Pitta demonstrates our investment and commitment to driving further incremental growth in the bakery category.”

Mission will launch three naan flavours, including a bite size option, while the pitta breads will be available in four variants as well as a minis alternative.

The company claims to produce 25 per cent of the world’s tortillas and has been established for 50 years.
