Delia to endorse pastry products

One of the old guard celebrity chefs, Delia Smith, is to give her backing to a new range of Jus-Rol pastry products available this month.

The new pastry products from Jus-Rol – Individual Puff Pastry Rounds and Tartlet Cases – are designed to give the consumer more convenience, Talking Retail reports.

Delia’s new book, How to Cheat at Cooking, is to feature both products as part of an easy way to use pastry, much to the delight of Ed Culf, the commercial director at parent company General Mills UK.

“The endorsement of Delia Smith is a massive boost for these two new products and we are delighted that such an esteemed cook has recognised the fact that Jus-Rol is a quality ingredient,” he said.

He added that customers who enjoy cooking but don’t have the time to do it will appreciate the products.

Furthermore, a Delia logo will be displayed on packs of the pastry, signifying it as one of her cheat ingredients.
