Scholler announces ‘unusual ice cream varieties’

Two new innovative ice cream flavours have been devised by desserts specialist Scholler.

The food firm has created a Rhubarb option for its Movenpick range as well as Cocoa and Orange, CatererSearch reports.

According to the news source, the Rhubarb variant will contain real pieces of the fruit, perhaps responding to consumer desire for authentic, quality products.

Tracy Ebbatson, a brand manager at the firm, commented that new products are part of the company’s strategy, describing the marketplace as “dynamic and burgeoning”.

“Our aim is to deliver high-quality dessert solutions, which work as exciting and innovative additions to any dessert menu,” she told the website.

Global food giant Mars announced recently that it is to venture further into the ice cream category.

Mini Galaxy ice creams are to be introduced as well as a selection pack featuring smaller versions of popular names such as Mars, Snickers and Bounty.
